      Well designed. The alarm is quite loud. It beeps twice when you plug in your battery. I hold my meaty finger over the buzzer to muffle it so I don't startle everybody around me. You can adjust the voltage at which the alarm goes off, which is just fantastic. Instructions for making the adjustment are printed in tiny tiny lettering on the back. The display is very bright, easily visible from short distance depending on your eye sight. The display cycles between showing the total voltage of your battery pack, then each individual cell. The display changes too quickly for my liking. It measures 39 x 25 x 11 mm, and weights 9.6, lets say 10 grams, which should be no problem for an under-powered 4-channel 400 size helicopter and probably still manageable for a 200. If they used smaller 7-segment LEDs, a single buzzer, and it only had the ability to read 1S to 4S packs, it could be a third of the weight. There is very little to complain about.I bought 3 of them - should have bought 12!

      Save the LiPo battery with cut-off manually, when this device alarm. You can set the switching level for arming from 2.7V to 3.8V step 0.1V... Display voltage of any cell, and the total voltage of battery. The buzzer is loud, you can hear good from 100-200m on electric planes, and you can hear the overdischarged receiver battery alarm on gas/glow plane.

        Q: I understand that this device beeps as soon as the voltage of one of the connected LiPo cells goes under the threshold voltage value. Question: Does beeping stop when the cell voltage recovers to a value above the threshold voltage (e.g. when I reduce motor power)?

        The buzzer is to to warn you when airborne because you cannot see the display. It would be pointless in the pit area where you can look at the readings. Maybe for blind people? I have several similar units and they all stop buzzing once the voltage recovers.

        Q: Mine was working but the voltage readings were not well calibrated. I tried to see if there was a way to calibrate by doing a long press of the top button (20 seconds). Now all voltage readings are stuck at 0.00 volts. Does anybody know how to fix this and what a long press is supposed to do?

        Try long press and then short press to set. I think this is the alarm menu where you can set the alarm voltage.

        Thisdevice checks single cell voltages one after another with a 1 second delay. Each single cell voltage is displayed for one second. If this single cell voltage is below the treshold, additionally it makes a loud sound and starts blinking. The sound remains way longer than one second, so nobody could miss it.

        lipo batteries should never go under 3.0 Volt so this device is perfect to check the voltage and beeps if one or more cells are to low.

        It checks INDIVIDUAL cell voltages, and the alarm starts when ANY of the cells is under the voltage threshold. You should have read the other questions, as this has already been answered previously.

        This device does NOT have an alarm for 1S Battery. It is alarm only for 2S and higher. Read the product description and read the sticker on the rear of the device to confirm this.

        The one I got, starts beeping when battery drops below set limit, but it doesn't stop when you cut throttle and battery voltage raises over the limit. It just goes on beeping.
