    Self-calibration function

      as described and works well! the laser is very weak and will not work outdoor, as the sunlight drowns out the InfraRed beam.

        Received mine two weeks ago and mine shows a mistake of 1,9 degree - I can turn it around on a 100% level benxch and it always shows - 1,9 degree. Did not find a way to correct that and do not (yet?) want to open the case.

        the red dot isn't too bright, but in the trsts i have done, it was easily visible around fifty meters on a sunny day. I haven't tried it over longer distances.

        Q: Got the unit but I cannot get it to measure anything properly. I suspect that it works fine but the instruction manual is total gibberish. Doesn't explain half the functions or it explains it in such limited fashion that I can't translate it into actual function on the unit. Pythagorean mode has different symbols and there is no explanation for which symbol does what. So frustrating. The instruction manual is totally useless.
